SINAZO MTSHENGU
Sinazo Mtshengu a young South African womesnist and Afrikanist writer, producer, radio host and entrepreneur. She started a foundation called Woman Of Tomorrow Africa, where she empowers young women, holding leading seminars and conferences. With the aim to groom a new generation of women in leadership. With a project that hopes to inspire more young African women to sit on higher decision making tables within the African political, business and traditional spheres.
Sinazo has held a number of events for young women and has set in in a number of seats that deal with the agenda of women.
She is currently a member of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University gender forum, she is also ambassador and graduate of the I live 2 Lead international women’s group based in the USA. Sinazo has also held a number of leadership positions in her with being a the Chairperson of Women In Leadership, she was chosen to be the Deputy chairperson of UNASA, although she had to step down Sinazo Mtshengu has been leading to the movement of women in empowerment in her own space and beyond, in her six months in America she was also a member of the Black Students Union in Kentucky. She is an advocate for the African renascence, a United States of Africa and women in leadership. She has represented South Africa as a delegate in Mexico in international women’s summit, organised by an American organisation and the Mexican government.
Sinazo Mtshengu is a woman with a passion for Afrika, who uses her love for media and business to forward the African agenda. She has appeared on BayTv to speak about young women and has been invited to a number of other media platforms, radio and news papers to speak about her views and to speak about women in leadership.
Her media career began in 2011, where she became a writer for Parable magazine as a contributor, moving to Gateway News 2013, she became a passionate writer and journalist, that saw her also writing for the Concord newspaper in America. With her love for talking, she got into radio, with her first radio job being on Bellarmine Radio in America, she has since moved on to be the Sales Manager of Madibaz Radio and the Deputy station manager. She has interned at 5fm and now Radio has seen Sinazo co-hosting a show with Award winning radio host on Bay fm, where she is now based.
Beyond radio Sinazo is also the executive producer of a tv show on DSTV. She has worked her way in media and has used her education and work to really show her passion and hard work in the industry.
As a young woman who understands the power of entrepreneurship, this young woman runs her company called Global Borders Media and communications and has embarked on a new building of a lodge in Centane. She has made it her life’s mission to grown women leadership, African consciousness and business.
